These "boot" covers are really more like socks with no bottoms. I tried them on over kind of thick slippers, and also just over feet. I thought the slipper cover looked a little funny, but it had a decent look over just the foot. I think with a thin-wall shoe or boot these will look okay, especially if you need white coverage over the bottom of the legs and feet to make a costume work. Or, they could come in handy if looking for a more whimsical or funny look over larger footwear depending on the intention.Considering the affordable price, they are worth playing and experimenting with in my view.

I'm going on a cruise in a couple of weeks that has a 70's themed night. I bought these to go over my sandals. I tried them on, and they really do look like boots.

It is a great idea. I put them on and the string on the top ripped right out. Couldn't use them.
