So, it doesn't fit perfectly on the malibu (2011) but I was able to make it work. It's a lot nicer looking and feeling than before. It also took some time to assemble but it was worth it because the covers that you can buy in the stores look really bad and this has much more of a stock look.

If you’ve never sewn anything in your life it’s okay you can still put this on yourself.

I recently bought a used Equinox, and with the stock steering wheel being a bit worn down and slippery was looking for a slip on cover to pop on when I came across this one. It definitely fits better being sewn on instead of slip on, but that of course comes with the time and skill requirements of sewing it on for an hour or so!I'm no stranger to sewing, but the awkward work of doing so on a wheel a foot above your lap that's attached to the car means you not only have to contend with hunching over and trying to stitch evenly, but also deal with possibly uncomfortable temps if doing so in the summer or winter. They include everything needed to attach it, though the instructions can be a bit vague concerning the taping and sewing; you use the double sided tape to keep it from slipping around on the top, bottom, and sides, and sew from the inside to the outside while attaching both sides... Two ways to make this a good deal easier would be to have pre punched thread holes, and/or including a leather hook needle instead of a straight one, which could make punching through both sides and finishing the ends of stitches less of a pain. The carbon fiber finish is nice enough, and feels a bit warmer than the stock one. The thinness makes it easier to grip compared to slip on covers as well, and you don't have to worry about it sliding around either. For how much it costs, the changes above would make it a much better deal, but it does add a higher end look and feel compared to the cheaper slip on options - it'd be worth it more if on sale of course, but if you have the time, skill, and good weather needed, this is a good option either way.
