Quality appears to good except for the 6 elastic stretch bands that might not last a year at best , they retain the computer in the case,, fit is a 2 but that might improve if I spend way to much of my time trying to figure out how to better secure it, I fear my new computer might fall out and all my efforts and $ is wasted , I really question if this cover/ case was made for my model of computer??? If I look at it too much it might just go back !!!

I dislike carrying around a laptop and the metal surface scratching every where. Yes its sleek and shiny but slippery and leaves fingerprints on the laptop surfaces. I wanted a case that stays on and allows me to use it without taking out from a laptop sleeve, by just opening it like a briefcase or a folio.I had previously used plastic type snap on shell cases on a Mac book Pro 10 years ago but they are no longer made for some reason. So I searched and searched and found this being the only one available that would fit my new laptop. I was little reluctant to see no written review and just one star rating by someone who could not make it work.Construction quality is OK , not the best, material is fake leather like foam filled that is commonly used for wallets and purses and provides a nice grip. The all four corner pieces are have a Velcro backing and movable , to make a tight fit for your model if its slightly smaller. It comes with two additional corners for both the top part for screen and the lower part for the keyboard side of laptop with transparent diagnal plastic holds. . my model at 14.5 inch screen size fits perfectly tight with installed corners. There are elastic diagonal strap pieces at the corners near the hinge side of laptop and go on to both far corners of the lower body to hold it tight in the hinge , and thin enough so it does not interfere with the opening and closing of the laptop.The back side closed as this model does not have any ports there, and sides are open all the time so it does not block any connector ports. The case does not stick to the laptop metal cabinet due to builtin spacers and is a good design to help the air circulation to help the cooling and providing some flex that could help for shock absorption. . There are extra openings at the bottom and a small soft kick stand that folds on to the case to further let the fans push air. The laptop in the case when closed to carry is about 1.5 inches thick. I am not going to try it but i feel it just provides enough cushion if it were to fall off a desk and fell flat or even on the edge side.Overall i am satisfied withe design aspect, but its kind of pricey for the quality of components used so lost one star for that. But if you need it due to functionality, you need it. I just hope it outlasts the laptop itself.

Cover is flimsy and the screen is very difficult to work it does not have the right sensitivity and didn't even make it through setup before I decided I hated it
