Got it for my axolotl and it was too small. The quality was pretty good and the hide space inside was big for a fish but not big enough for my axolotl. The plastic also had some sharp edges on the inside that might have caused some scrapes

Added this to my aquarium and the next day my tank smelled of toxic paint fumes and fish became very sick. I had to do a emergency water change. I don't recommend this product.

I got the biggest size they had, checked the measurements and whatnot, for a juvie Yellow Niger Uromastyx. The dimensions include the thickness of the item, which the don't tell ya. Its like a 1/2" thick. Maybe fine for hatchlings, or small-bodied lizards, fish, and just about anything else. It is a good item, very sturdy.. just make sure to remove a 1/2" over all thickness, from the dimensions shown-- so you get a more accurate measurement.My Uromastyx did give a shot though-- half of his body didn't make it, lol. Thankfully he has 3 other hides to choose from. He is only 5.5" long, maybe a little longer. The measurements given on this item, are obviously taken from the outside.
