It cuts but also sparks. I wouldn’t paid the full asking price, expense per cut. It cuts steel ok, less spark than using abrasives, the teeth doesn’t look too good after cutting up the old 75 gallon water heater shell and some black pipe. It still cuts metal but not as fast as when it’s new.

I have used diablo in my wood shop for years with great success. I bought the metal blade to cut some thin angle iron. I only got through a few of them before the teeth melted. With carbide and metal, you need the tool rotating before metal contact or they will chip. I made sure the saw was fully rotating before starting my cuts, I think I got a lemon. I started the return process, but got sick and didn't make the return deadline, stuck with scrap metal now.

I have used this blade for metal roofing. Works great. I have not cut thick metal. But Definitely cuts thinner stuff well. Wear PPE.. metal bits fly everywhere.
