I’m not a woodworker but I have a large project in my basement workshop. I needed to put a back bevel on some cabinet doors I’m making and this router bit worked perfectly! Great value for the money and was plenty sharp enough that I didn’t have any tear outs.

I am a hobbyist woodworker and build the occasional cutting board.Instead of handles I sometimes chamfer the bottom edges with this bit.I have numerous other Freud bits and just like those this bit does not disappoint either. Since I only use it sparingly I expect for this bit to last a really long time.

Good price for a quality cutter, shame you have to pay the import tax, but still good value and quick post coming from USA.

I prefer Freud router bits based on consistently high quality. This is an example.This bit is very useful for slight bevel on trim or the like. The 25 degree bevel (vs vertical) is quite nice if 45 or 30 are too slanted, and the slighter angle also makes the bit a little easier to work - the outside diameter is smaller.Suggest use on light material (such as primary design purpose, re trimming countertop laminates) with slow rate over work, or in a router table. Either way a variable speed router is required for best results, turned down from max just slightly.My first use was actually duplicating a guitar pickguard using an original as pattern -- on a router table, using spacers in between to get the cutter to align as closely as possible to the bearing. One of many examples where this bit is extremely suitable and useful.

There's not much to say here ... the bit is beautiful and up to the standard one might expect from Freud. It was packaged well and shipped promptly from the seller, arriving quickly and as described. The bit has a sharp and very durable edge. I used the bit to put a chamfer on some 12" PVC pipe sections I was using to construct part of an environmental science research project, and the bit worked just fine in PVC without chipping, grabbing or any misbehaviour. By the way, doing this creates volumes of white plastic sawdust that would serve well as fake snow.
