Sharing lenses has some distinct advantages. Certain prime lens just can't be replaced, and you save the cost of purchase on new lenses. Fotodiox offers a range of adapter from large format to smaller format digital adapters. Adapting larger format lens to smaller format sensors (i.e: large format to medium format, medium format to 35mm, 35mm to micro 4/3) provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle.

It allows Sony Alpha Lenses to fit on a micro 4/3 (MFT) system camera body, the all metal Design with Built-in Aperture Dial can be used on all Minolta AF and Sony Lenses
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode micro 4/3 body. Infinity focusing is allowed.

Took the adapter for a test, and it performed awesome. Snag fit to my sigma 35~70mm, Minolta Maxxum 50 mm, and Sigma 75~300mm that are part of Minolta 5000 and 7000 outfits, adapted to Lumix G series. Iris is a bit too snag, but it's better than sloppy. Flawless fit means no issues with focus into infinity. If you can handle aperture priority and/or program modes, plus manual focus on you body, then this is going to keep you happy. It is only as good as your lens is. If there is better way to fit Minolta A mount lens to MFT mount body please let me know, I tried with no better outcome.

Perfecto para objetivos de Sony en una 4/3 permite llevar los objetivos en un cuerpo pequeño.Para recordar y perfeccionar la fotografia manual, que se va perdiendo la practica.

Construction robuste. Très intéressant pour utiliser ses objectifs sony Alpha sur une Blackmagic Pocket Cinéma.L'iris incorporé permet de moduler la lumière pour la mise au point
