My favourites! They are pretty with a simple, non-flower pattern, in unobtrusive colours. The cotton feels coarse at first, but quickly softens with washing (even in hard water). I iron them after washing for a tidy look when i pull one out of my purse--which i do often. There were a few loose threads on the hems, but nothing significant enough to cause the hem to loosen or fray. I find these to be durable and superb for the purpose of wiping my drippy nose/sneezing.

I bought these because I needed some to give out first a funeral, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I kept one for myself. They are lightweight. The colors are like the picture. I washed and dried mine and boy did it get wrinkled (see picture of handkerchief directly out of the dryer). I tried ironing it. Some wrinkles came out, but it wasn't anything like when I first opened the package. I wasn't expecting high quality for the quantity and price. They did what I bought them for, but if you want higher quality, I don't think these are for you.

When I went to Japan last year, I learned that most ladies restrooms (I don't know about the men's) don't have stocked paper towels like we do in the US. We had a guide with us, and she looked at me in when we made a restroom stop aghast after I washed my hands and had no personal hankie tucked into my purse to dry them with! Everyone in Japan carries their own hankie to dry their hands, etc. with them. Paper towels and trash cans are few and far between but it's very clean. I decided to get a dozen pretty hankies so I would always have a fresh one with me, and it's been more helpful than I expected.These are not too big, and come in a selection of pretty pastels. They wash nicely, but do need to be touched up with an iron if you want them to look crisp.

These are very pretty hankies, but I was hoping for more variety as shown on the website. The 12-pack I received was 4 each of only 3 different colors. Fabric quality is good, but I had to cut off several hanging threads from the hems, so hopefully they will hold up after repeated washings (If not I will re-hem). These hankies measure about 11.5 inches square. The fabric feels very nice and I do expect they will shrink a bit and soften up after repeated washings. I'll update my review in a few months after I've used them for awhile.

I've ordered these three times over the years. They are great. Nice colors and patterns, soft lightweight cotton. Not bulky in your pocket. They wash really well. I probably have them in every jacket, sweater pocket, glove box, kayaking life vest, bathrobe, backpack - and my husband does too. They don't seem to wear out, we just seem to need more! Each set is slightly different in terms of colors and patterns, so it's fun to have a variety. Simple and very nice to have. Saves trees!
