So I got this item for to having a reduction surgery. If helped tremendously especially around my 2yr old. They even come with cooling and heat packs. The same pack which is interesting. It helped allot especially when I had to lay down to sleep. My arms when they touched my sides hurt allot but this cushion on the sides helped tremendously. The straps are adjustable so it's easy to use.Highly recommend

Stuffed animal soft texture all round, lots of pockets for ice packs on the interior front and sides, and a large pouch pocket on the front for phone or small items, or even hands. Plenty of protective padding that is just thick and firm enough, but soft. The ice packs are a nice extra - some mastectomy pillows do not come with them - and these are well made from a durable and thick flexible vinyl like material. All the straps are adjustable for a comfortable fit. Some pillows also do not have shoulder straps, and I like that this pillow has that option. I am happy to have this for a long car ride post surgery. I feel confident that it will do a great job providing post-surgical protection and comfort. The quality and workmanship are excellent.
