I ordered this as a cat fountain bc I could not find one that I liked. I did not want plastic because it can be toxic and I wanted something attractive as it is on my kitchen counter. My cats love it and it looks good. The gentle water sound is pleasant.

It is sturdy and pretty. A bit expensive, but it will go in any designed room of your home. My only complaint is the water hose. After cleaning it recently, I cannot connect it to the pump because it’s too short. If it’s pulled too much, it will disconnect from the top. I somehow was able to get it installed twice, but this time to no avail. I am looking for a new hose. And if you think it’s not important for the pump to be secured, it is. If it isn’t, it will swirl inside the bowl, twisting the hose. The water doesn’t sprout up straight but in all directions. I know this because I thought I could get away with not securing it and water sprayed around. Regardless, I still like it. If I have to get a new pump with a longer hose, I will. It’s the base of the fountain that attracted me.

It took a while for me to find this beauty, and I am extremely happy that I've found and purchased it. It has been more than a few months since I bought it, and I must say that I am extremely thrilled with this beautiful Foreside Home and Garden Multicolor Chinoisarie Ceramic Indoor Water Fountain. I can hear the water sounds all the way from my upstairs and it is an absolutely beautiful relaxing tranquil waterfall sound. Everything about this beauty is perfect. It is not small, but it does not take a lot of space either. Beautiful colors, beautiful and classy design, and all you have to do is to plug in to an electric outlet after you it fill up with distilled water. It makes a very powerful yet elegant, classy, peaceful, happy, loving, and sophisticated statement to everyone who walks into your home. I do not need to refill more water for at least once a week at a time. I love this beauty and highly recommend it!
