It's a bit of metal, it costs $15, and it does what it says on the box. Ring fitment is perfect on original OM mount lenses and attachment to EF Canon bodies (35mm EOS Rebel K2 and 60D DSLR) is same as proper Canon mount. Fitment and removal from the lens/body is perfect and the converter is lightweight and doesn't upset the weight balance. No prying or tools required, Highly recommended.

So it turns out that I had a REALLY old adapter, I purchased it more than a decade ago for my OM lenses and my Canon EOS 30D. I hadn't used it in a really long time since I've built up my equipment to where I have my entire desired focal length range covered by Canon L glass, but I recently wanted to start doing some tests with my OM and M42 lenses. Well, back then these adapters were brand new on the market, and apparently they didn't support full-frame cameras. Now that I have a 5D Mk III, I figured out my adapter wasn't what I thought it was, and I came to Amazon to buy an updated one.This adapter is perfect. It's extremely well built and sturdy, has the AF confirmation chip (which sadly is no more accurate than my last one was, but I suspect that's a limitation that can't really be overcome at this point), and works beautifully with all of the weird lenses I have. If you have any OM glass sitting around, send it my way. Or I guess get one of these adapters and start using your Zuikos again.I am taking donations though, just so you know.
