It works!Just using this for testing capacitors in-circuit was WELL worth the price. Huge time saver!!

This is a beautiful little measuring device. It has a great legible and colorful and bright display. It's easy to measure capacitors, inductors and do some calculations with different frequencies to figure impedances. Doesn't do volts; you already have something for that. Nice device, and very inexpensive.

It's a handy accurate piece of kit. It works we'll on those tiny little caps and diodes. After a short learning curve I find myself reaching for it more that I thought I would. I've only used for a few hours and the battery hasn't called for a charge yet. The screen is easy to read, even in bright light. It's worth the money I paid for it.

The tweezer probes of this compact multimeter make it really handy for checking surface mount components. I have all sorts of scavenged components in my parts box and testing them has always been a challenge. Trying to hold both probes of a regular multimeter on a part usually ends up with it flipping off somewhere into the void.I don't have three hands and a prehensile tail like some people, so having both probes together to work with one hand leaves the other free to hold the part down if needed.Genius!

If you're buying this expecting Agilent or Rohde & Schwarz level Precision then look elsewhere, if you're looking for a reasonably accurate piece of diagnostic equipment than this is worth considering. This isn't a Precision laboratory grade LCR meter and for the price I don't know why anyone would expect it to compete with laboratory grade equipment and costing thousands of dollars. For it's intended purpose it functions as well if not better than devices costing twice as much. It's primarily intended for circuit board level troubleshooting or for use in identifying components.Let me give you a bit of background on myself, I'm a retired aerospace engineer with multiple degrees in electronics engineering, I worked in the US Space Program. While going to school I worked as a broadcast engineer in radio and TV and I still hold a commercial radio telephone license as well as an extra class ham radio ticket, in fact I was first licensed as a novice class ham radio operator back in the late 50sI have a home electronics lab stocked with laboratory grade NASA and JPL approved equipment, all with current calibration tags. My electronics lab is worth more than most people's homes.I may be retired from the Aerospace industry but I still work as a consultant and have a side business servicing and maintaining Aviation and Marine Electronics. So now that you understand where I'm coming from, let me assure you that for its intended purpose this is a nice little device, the screen is easy to read even with my aging eyes, the menu system is easy to use and intuitive, although I wish they'd get away from those rocker switches. I wish they'd just use three buttons for scrolling through the menu.If I had to choose something to complain about it would probably be that the tweezer arms have a little too much lateral flexibility, this isn't really a problem you just need to be a bit more conscientious when working with smaller components. The bottom line is I learned years ago not to get caught up in the speckmanship game, which is why I'm not comparing a sub $50 LCR meter to a $5,000 LCR meter with a traceable calibration certificate. With that said this little unit compares favorably to similar LCR meters ranging from $70 to $200.I believe this would make a nice addition to any working Electronics lab and have no problem recommending it.
