Wife and I’s first time camping together. Being in the military I originally was issued the ISO mats and I thought that was sufficient enough to bring to camping, however my wife disagreed and that brought me down this rabbit hole of finding backpack/hiking friendly, inflatable air beds. It needed to be 2 pounds or lighter, compact enough to store in a rucksack/backpack, and durable enough to withstand normal use (I’ve read that inflatable beds like the Zenbivy, etc eventually pop because of the denier used). With that in mind, that brought me to Amazon to find a cheap “consumable” inflatable bed. I randomly came across this product and was amazed by 4 things that stood out to me: the weight at about 2 pounds, the price, the durable material used (50 denier) + the pvc coating underneath for it to increase durability, and then the fact it had a built in inflatable pump (others in market like those in REI comes with a weird bag that would act like a pump). I immediately ordered 2 and it arrived just in time to go camping. Set up was easy, my only complaint I could conjure up is that it would take 2-4 minutes fully inflating it. Comfortable and much better than those ISO mats, feels durable yet doesn’t cause discomfort while laying down on it. This is a low risk high reward buy for camping and I recommend this bed. I will provide any updates but so far so good.

This bed was easy to inflate with the included built in pump and still more comfortable than the pull out bed at my father's house where I chose to use it instead when visiting over the holidays. I wish it was a tiny bit wider but I knew the dimensions when I purchased it so it wasn't a surprise. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's noisy ever time you move. Whenever I turned over the plastic made noise. Overall though it's a great little mattress and while I had my doubts about ever getting it back into that little pouch again it actually deflated easily and folded up and fit right back in with zero problems. It's so compact that it's sitting on a ledge at my father's house until I return to use it again.

I bought this ground pad for a last minute camping trip. I chose this one because it was extra thick and had a foot pump built in (which looked easy to use). I currently own a Thermarest, a Big Agnes and a Z rest that are similar in but were unfortunately packed away in another location,So far this ground pad surpasses all of those in comfort and ease of inflation. It is 5 inches thick for the most part with a thicker pillow area. (None of my other ground pads is more than 2 inches thick). It inflated easily with the foot pump, 100 pumps----yes I counted. It deflated just as easily. The width and the length are ample too. It is only slightly larger than my Big Agnes when it is deflated, but the weight is the same.My only negative would be that the inflation instructions are written in about a 4 font on a 2 x 3 paper. The illustrations of the valves were nearly impossible for me to see. (I actually took a photo the instructions and enlarged it on my phone.) I'm older, though and it is more difficult for me to see the small print.Over all, this is a great ground pad for a fantastic price.

This sleeping pad is too heavy for true ultralight backpacking, but it's a great option for camping, travel or for kids/guests. It is extremely easy to inflate/deflate and I like the foot pump feature and the instructions that come with it. I really like that it is a thicker air mattress pad than most other brands. I have other several other brands including Thermarest, Exped, Sleepingo and a couple of others that were purchased from Amazon, and this air mattress is very comfortable to sleep on and easy to use. It's thick enough that it doesn't leave you with a sore back/hips if you are a side sleeper. It is a great product for the price. I like the snaps that allow you to connect more than one sleeping pad together if desired. I would recommend purchasing this inflatable air mattress pad for camping/travel. It would be okay for backpacking for a night or for a quick trip, but if you are an ultralight backpacker, it is heavy and bulky compared to an Exped or other ultalight sleep system. Better for camping than backpacking.
