I got this to have as a backup in an emergency. It seems compact enough and easy to use. I love the idea of having it for long hikes as well, but at this point in our lives it is living in our emergency kit in the garage.

It's light and easy to use. Customer service was good. I received one where the USB connection was damaged. I had no problems exchanging it for a new one.

I had refunded the 20 watt panel bc the PD port is supposed to produce higher wattage power than the USB port. They both produced 10 watts. Unacceptable.I recently bought the 30 watt panel. Guess what? USB produces 10 watt!? and the PD port produces 10 watt! Refund again!Don't trust this company unless your willing to over pay for low output.

I'm outside and out and about with my family a lot, and our family is also pretty device heavy, admittedly. It is a PAIN to be constantly having to worry about charging a bunch of power banks, making sure that we have an abundance of chargers, etc. any time we leave the house for any extended period. This solar charger is an absolutely phenomenal solution- I'm blown away by it!I have a larger solar charger that's more meant for things like charging a larger power cell, powering a small RV, an electric grill, etc. but that obviously isn't a good fit for devices like phones, laptops, tablets and the like. The cords it came with don't even fit anything remotely close to those, and I've yet to find a suitable conversion option. It's also much larger and heavier- folded down as much as it will fold, the case is about 18" wide and 36" long, and it's quite heavy- maybe 45-50 lbs- so it's not exactly a convenient option.Alternatively, this solar panel is much more compact, lightweight, and built to run power to a device. It's built for a USB A and a USB C connection, and while I haven't tried it, I'm sure I could use a hub to charge multiple devices through one of those ports at a time (bearing in mind that it would take a bit longer for each device to charge). It weighs *maybe* 2-3 pounds total, and folded down as far as it will, it's about 12-14 inches long and maybe 8 inches wide? Not very big at all. I definitely love that it came with carabiners that I could use to attach it to a backpack or other bag so that if I'm walking or hiking it can charge while I'm on the move. This solar charger also seems to be built stronger than other solar panels and chargers that I've owned and encountered. It seems to be built to be able to withstand a lot more activity. The fact that it's built to convert power to a USB-A or C cord alone is such a massive win; I haven't seen a solar charger like this one that's built more like a traditional solar panel that does that. This has been such a game changer while we're out and about- it charges pretty quickly, and as long as we have daylight we don't have to worry about losing a charge. It's worthwhile to have whether you're out and about a lot or just enjoy spending time in your backyard without having to run a lot of cords everywhere! It pays for itself very quickly.
