Small, innovative and admirable despite a few flaws. The PROS: well constructed, convenient USB recharging, lots of easily accessible features, love the indicator lights for everything; cool things like amps, effects and drumbeats are fun to play with and can be useful in practice. Bluetooth connectivity is awesome for playing along with backing tracks. The CONS: sounds quality is uneven, hum and hiss are present inconsistently, some amp settings are way more powerful so you have to remember to dial down the volume, combined on-off-bluetooth switch is a poor choice and a hassle to maneuver considering it's often out of sight once you've hooked up to your bass; and there's the missing feature... You can give me a thousand amazing drumbeats to play with, but the most useful for practicing is a regular ol' click track. Why drumbeat setting number one is not a metronome or click is beyond me. Click, click, click in, say, 5 beat adjustable increments, is what I need most of the time to practice. Yes, I can hook up to my phone or iPad metronome app and get a click, but then i'm draining the device's battery faster by using bluetooth. I have a Vox headphone amp for the bass and I will sometimes switch to it for trouble-free metronome functionality. So, love this thing, but with a few caveats.

Quit working after 1 month, major issue with the jack. Not worth the price. Features are excellent but the jack is able to rotate and it wears very quickly, will become crackly sounding and then work intermittently before quiting. I got about 5 uses out of it.

I like that you can practice along with songs on your devices via bluetooth and the bass tone sounds good enough to enjoy the practice time. It is also nice that it is so portable, for my purposes it works well. I also appreciate the drum grooves that allow you to work on sitting in the pocket as you work on your two bar phrases on the bass etc.

So far I am amazed by this amp. The tones are suited for the bass, especially the fuzzy and bright tones. The clean tones are bright and this can get low and dirty too.I like the Bluetooth accessibility for practicing.Instead of headphones, I plugged the other end of the cable into a 400-watt two-way speaker (it also works on my PA and bass amp) and it's like I have several bass cabinets now. This headphone amp and that speaker with woofers are just endless fun. The presence and boom are just as good or better playing the bass on this simple setup than when my bass is plugged into a 100W Fender bass amp.The headphone jack I noticed is a little touchy on mine and with a little movement of the cable, it really needs to be plugged in well to give audio out of headphones.I'm extremely glad I got this. It's better than plugging a bass into a Spark amp. There are so many more tones available with the Flamma bass amp than Positive Grid made for bassists for the Spark app.Very satisfied with this purchase. Everyone who plays bass should own one of these!
