If I knew about this product in the past, I would never have put a wall mount in my living room.Moved into an apartment recently & didn’t want to drill holes into walls as I had done at my prior premises. This swivel stand is the perfect solution!Very sturdy construction. Great range of smooth motion. Many heights to choose from.It allowed me to place the centre speaker below, whilst pushing the TV further out from the wall, meaning I had an even larger swivel angle to work with.Very happy to now have a great view of the TV from the kitchen! This home chef is happy!

I have to say I am really impressed by the quality of this TV stand.I bought a Sony 85" TV and this sucker is big,The weight according to Sony is around 100lbs.I was concerned that I might get a TV stand that is flimsy and able to hold the TV but not solidly. As I unpacked the TV stand I began to be very impressed by how solid the parts are.Thick heavy beam or kneck of the stand,The base is made out of a thick solid glass and was not expecting that. The set up was pretty basic and once set up if u need to take the TV off the stand you don't need to get behind the TV and un screw anything it's designed so u can lift it at an angle and either pull it off or place it back on the base. And that is a really nice feature because I need to redo the lighting I installed. The stand swivels with ease and when you swivel or turn the TV to an angle it feels absolutely solid, does not wobble or feel like it may topple over. This stand is built for large TV's and yes can be used for mid size, but can handle the heaviestThere are cable chokes x2 down the kneck of the stand so u can run your cords without them hanging out from behind your tvThere is nothing I can complain about, just very happy to know my new TV is set into a solid stand while being easy to access the back with a simple turn or swivel and able to easily take the TV on or off the stand. If you have a large TV, trust me you will be happy you chose this one.I've had others that yes hold the TV but feels a little unstable, not this one.I included a picture of how thick the glass base is, I know it's hard to really tell in the picture but if u zoom in you can see.

I do not like to mount TVs. I do not like to lose the mobility factor. Also, I don't want to look up at a TV, but straight. Many people choose aesthetics over function and comfort. Not me.It's very sturdy, and easy to install. Fit my 85" TV no problem. The fiberglass at the base makes our heavier and prettier.

I've had this stand at one of my other places for 5yrs now, where the base it came with is the glass. I have an 85 inch Samsung on it and it HOLDS, but it's a bit nerve wracking when the TV easily sways about swiveling it. Sooo for my second place I bought this stand again because it seems to hold the weight just fine, but I made a big difference this time. Instead of the glass base it comes with, I used a Full Metal base. I will be putting an 85" Samsung QN90 on it and have no doubt that it will hold it just fine. It is very sturdy. I don't understand why they don't just provide a metal base with this instead of glass? At least give a choice of 2 different versions? It shouldn't be hard to offer this.. They offer a 'floor stand' version - which is where I harvested the base from; bolt holes are identical - but I don't want just a stand alone floor version. I'm putting my TV up on a wooden cabinet so the shorter neck is what I need in this case.Anyway the pieces overall are of good quality, no missing parts, very solid, and easy to assemble. I just don't want to continually worry about a glass base giving out randomly at some point for w/e reason. If the manufacture ever reads reviews of their products, perhaps consider offering a version that isn't a floor stand, with a metal foot instead of just a glass one.

Picked this up to replace a Samsung 75" tv I gave my mother (after buying a new Sony 4k 85").A couple of things to note:- Incredibly sturdy and well built. The Samsung tv is roughly 70 pounds and I was very concerned about stability. The glass base and back support easily holds a very heavy tv without sway or fluctuations.- Very simple to assemble, as in roughly 10 minutes.- The swivel feature (which is the main reason I bought it given the Samsung has two flimsy plastic legs at either end of the tv) works flawlessly. You can pivot the tv easily with one finger. Again important is I didn't want my mother struggling with a heavy mechanism.Cons:- The included screws and spacers were not sufficient to work properly with the mounting holes and orientation on the back of the tv. I needed slightly longer screws and two different sets of black spacers. Fortunately I have many extra spacers and screws from other tv mounting kits. It took a few minutes to mix and match the right balance. If you don't have spares, it will take a trip to a Home Depot or a Brafasco to get the right items. I'd suggest an expanded selection of screws and plastic spacers as tv brands vary wildly in terms of back curvatures and hole depth.- The tv tilted slightly when mounted in the wall unit but it turns out its because you have to precisely center it on the mounting rack. Even a quarter of an inch off center can cause a bit of a tilt (which was mentioned by other reviewers). Centering it resolved the issue. I suspect it's partly because of the mechanism that allows swiveling, it introduces a bit of play into the bracket assembly. Not necessarily a con if you take the time to mount it correctly. A smaller and lighter tv probably wouldn't be impacted as it wouldn't exceed the sway factor of the metal.- It is very very hard to mount if the stand is inside a wall unit cabinet (which this one was). I can't fault the bracket mount as I can't see any way it could be improved to alter this. If not putting it inside of a cabinet then this won't be an issue at all (or if the tv is much smaller and lighter...)One other item worth mentioning (as I read several reviews before buying) was the mounting positions in terms of overall height. I only had 50" of height inside the cabinet and the tv was 38" high without a stand necessitating less than 12" of total height increase. Other reviewers mentioned an issue with an insufficient number of mounting holes. I didn't have this issue at all. Perhaps they have revised the brackets? In my case the lowest mount point (which I used) has the tv less than 4" from the base of the cabinet it sits on. I could have definitely mounted it much higher (I used lowest bracket and back support beam settings) but unless you need to cram stuff under the tv there is no point. The lower the tv is on the assembly the lower its center of gravity and as such stability is ideal. Samsung has its VESA mount points centered in the back of the 75" tv.Highly recommended, I would definitely suggest this to anyone that has a tv with crappy stock legs or a need to have a nicer look base with a very smooth swivel feature.
