Fits! Looks great as well. Just had to cut the old wire from the powered window. If you are on installing this on a 98 Silverado you are gonna have to cut the old wire for the power window. Unless you take the time to grind rivets and whatnot while the mirror is still attached to your truck. Didnt want to do that. So I just cut at the pigtail connector and kept it just in case i ever went back to powered windows but I doubt that's ever gonna happen...

Was a great fit, but the piece thatvmiunts to the door is plastic instead of metal. Still seemed very good quality for the price. I removed the metal door mount part from my old one and screwed it into the new mirror portion. It looks great. I had to use different bolts, but it was worth it and didnt take long.
