As long as you know what to do, replacing your existing lint trap should be easy to set up.The piece is made of thick plastic like the original. I'm not sure how durable it will be, but I'll keep updated whether it wears out fast.Cleaning the lint trap is easy and it feels like the one I had previously.My main issue with this is even though it is the right part, it is not a perfect match or fit. The pieces clicked together fine, but I noticed some open areas/gaps in between the lint filter and the holder it skides into that shouldn't be there. Also, the lint filter is sticking ever so slightly up and out of the holder when put in all the way. It hasn't affected the dryers functionality, but I'm finding that it snags clothes sometimes.Also, pulling the actual lint trap takes some effort now, whereas before it just slides in and out. Now I have to use some force to pull it out. Just in case, I've kept my old one if this does not function properly.However, for the time being it is working for the most part as it should. For the price I would say it's not too bad.

Fits perfectly but is a slightly different (newer?) design. Seems to work better than the original.

I ordered DLEX3250R which is suppose to fit. According to LG the manufacturer modified the part and suggests replacing the filter guide as well. Gaps in parts which can either break off or rip clothes. I’m not breaking off parts or making slots bigger for it to fit correctly. Sure I could get bigger screws and just tighten it down there are gaps and it will eventually affect the clothing. I’m going to spend more money for the right parts and be done with it not worth the hassle for me to retrofit
