Worked well for about three weeks. Won't connect at all now. the connection is via hard wired usb C but Shows pairing... but no connection at all. Absolutely Junk... HAVE TO DO A HARD REBOOT EVERY TIME i WANT TO CONNECT TO MY IPHONE...

La atención del proveedor fue excelente y recibí rápido el producto, el fiio btr7 es un excelente producto para escuchar la música en alta resoluion, proporciona algo de calidez adicional a la música pero es muy agradable

This device seems to work very well so far a week or so in. Metal chassis, metal buttons and glass front and back. The audio quality is hard to believe because of how small it is. The included outer soft case is a real nice touch, seems well made with a quality material and thick stitching. This DAC/Amp has enough power to run the hifiman sundras ( 32ohm ) well at about 50-60% volume, high gain and a flat eq. runtime on the sundras after the first 8 or 10 full battery cycles is about 4 hours depending on volume. I also used a sed of KBear IEM's and the Fiio has much better battery life. 8 hours +and a volume of about 20-25% ( still in high gain, idk i just prefer it ) I am using the balanced port for both but have also tested the smaller unbalanced 3.5mm port. The only maid difference i noticed was the detail in the stereo separation otherwise the power output and general clarity was next level. I do recommend sourcing a proper balanced cable and take advantage of the balanced 4.4mm port. USB connection on 2 different phones and my laptop was seamless just plug and play. my phone supports LDAC and once i had it enabled properly the Fiio showed this on the screen. If you want a DAC/Amp for your headphones with a3.5mm aux and 4.4mm balanced aux out that's battery powered, bluetooth, and can use a direct usb conection as a audio processor this one is quite nice and I recommend it highly.

I love the way music sounds with this device. Music is clear, accurate and just very pleasing to the ears. The soundstage and separation of instruments blows me away. Sometimes Bluetooth coverage could be better. I generally listen chorded, though an Android phone, using UAPP app with KZ ZSN10 IEMs. Qobuz music service. Jazz,rock,bluegrass and classical all sound PHENOMENAL. It sounds 5 star worthy to me.The only shortcomings are poorer Bluetooth range than Qudelix 5K and no clip to attach it to a pocket or jacket but that’s small potatoes when you consider the music playback beauty. Great price from Amazon!

This is a very nice DAC as long as you are not too far from a power source. I bought mine as a replacement for my wonderful BTR5. Really my only complaint is that the battery in the BTR7 is completely dead after 3 hours, where my BTR5 lasted an entire shift at work (8-10 hours). If the battery were better I'd be buying these as gifts, as I did with the BTR5 and other excellent audio finds.While trying to understand the rapid battery discharge I tried the BTR7 as a USB dongle for my PC while having the charge switch set to off. The unit lasted a similar length of time, eliminating Bluetooth as a cause. I also tried using the 3.5mm audio jack instead of the 4.4mm jack, as someone mentioned that might be the cause. This was to no effect, the battery charge lasted approximately the same amount of time. Maybe this will be addressed by a software update? Hopefully it will then achieve the advertised 9 hour listening time.Summery: Powerful, great sounding DAC with a poor battery.Edit : the screen started corrupting on the first unit so I exchanged it as defective. The new one delivers battery as promised, especially after the firmware update. So yes, if you have either super short battery charge life, weird screen corruption or other strangeness, exchange it as defective as the design lives up to the hype!Sorry for any confusion my original review caused. I left it intact to help anyone who has a bad unit.
