Love these. Nice safe set. I'm remodeling my house, including replacing all of the baseboard heaters. This set makes it easy and safe. Would recommend for DIY'ers.

These aren't pro level tools, but they don't come at a pro level price. They seem to be mid grade tools and work just fine in the home environment. If I used them every day I might feel differently about them.Almost everything is pretty nice about them. There's a little misalignment on the lineman's pliers, but nothing too bad. The diagonal cutters are functional. I've never seen this style of wire stripper before, but after trying it I am not a fan. And the voltage tester honestly seems like a throwaway, I'm not sure why this style is in a kit for sale in 2024. Even a cheap non-contact voltage detector would have been a step up.The case is a mixed bag - it looks decent and keeps everything neat, but getting the pliers back in their spots is kind of a hassle. I do it because it's nice to have this little binder of a tool kit all together, so I will try to keep them that way as long as possible.I am mostly into this for some insulated screwdrivers. I didn't have any, and now I do. The insulated pliers are nice, although I did have some insulated linemen's pliers already and I kind of prefer them. Mostly, I try not to work on any live circuits as it makes me pretty nervous. But there's nothing wrong with being prepared. My electrician buddies tell me it's no big deal, just touch one wire at a time. I'll try to touch no wires when possible. It's hard to judge tools by a picture on a website, and these were an unknown quantity. I think they are really about the level of HF or the non-name brand tools you would get at the auto parts store - meaning they will function, but you're not going to make your living with them. These are wearing outfits to be dolled up to look like premium tools, but they are mostly decent tools. That feels a little harsh - I'm not dogging them. They work well enough, and they are an okay value ($50 for the set when I ordered them). But they maybe look like they are trying to appear as a premium brand without having the precision and durability to necessarily back that up. You're not getting fancy European tools at this price. You're getting decent Asian tools at this price, and that is a perfectly OK deal to get into.

Amazon shipping was fast. The quality of the tools in this set is excellent.I used it to replace a dead GFS Plug without having to turn off the power perfectly. It is worth every penny.

The kit is in a single fold carrier which has a holder place for each of the tools. The material is durable and it is likely to last quite a while. For the home user this is a good way to organize and keep all the insulated tools together. The professional electrician probably has tools together in belts, but the carrier is still a nice touch and done well. The tools are a little more solid than I had thought for a box store kind of price point. The insulation coating isn't likely to scratch off and wind up with electrical short contacts. The screwdrivers are magnetic tip which really helps. The lineman pliers, the side cutters, and the needle nose pliers are functional and have good motion once you work them out. They are tight and feel a little gritty out of the box but this cleans up with just a little use of the hinges. The wire stripper is not the style I prefer to use. This doesn't mean it is bad, just not my preference of tool. It still works, but I replaced it with a friction puller I'm more used to using. The voltage tester is a simple induction tool which means presence of voltage not how much voltage. This is still a useful tool if you are changing an outlet.Overall, this is a good collection of tools in a nice organization case.
