They're okay comfortable, I even use them to go out one night when I need a dark shoes. As far as being on the bike, one of the clips didn't adjust. It had been mechanically fastened to the shoe during manufacturing. We've since broken it free enough to use, but You're getting what you paid for.

Not a biker, but I liked the look and fact that these shoes are slip on with velcro straps. This review is based on what I think of these shoes as walkers, and not for cycling.I ordered 11.5 which is my normal size, and although the heel was slightly loose, I wouldn't go smaller, as these are "slipper style" and would be quite difficult to pull on if a smaller size. I had some basketball shoes like that and gave up on them after awhile.My original plan was to use these for tennis practice where I'm not running at full speed, just hitting the ball. However, there isn't near enough upper and ankle support even for light running use. For walking, however, these are pretty nice. The front is very firm (assume for bicycle use) which actually feels a lot like propelling you forward as you walk. The soles have very good traction. The shoes are breathable, so not for extreme cold (like our local big box store.)Overall, for walking and general wear I'd give these 5 stars. The loose heel for me was the only detractor, and may not be a problem for others.

These shoes run large by one full US size. I ordered a 12 marked 47 mm on the tongue. That would make that shoe a 13 and it felt like it might have been a 13.5. The manufacturer immediately replaced my shoes with a smaller size, so their support is excellent. The shoe's sole, padding and upper are excellent. In fact, they are as comfortable as a running shoe and I would have no problem wearing these shoes in the office for an entire day. The shoe's sole is also stiff which is desirable for biking. The manufacturer achieves this combination of stiff and comfortable by rounding the sole from the ball of the foot to the toe. The shoe sorts of rolls you forward as you walk. I do not understand the strategy behind the diagonal velcro strap. The strap secures the front portion of my foot well, but it does little to secure the shoe under the ankle. However, the shoe fits so well I have no concerns about stepping out of these shoes. Do I recommend these shoes? Yes, I do. They seem to be made so well I would like to see the other non-bike shoes this manufacturer makes.
