A little big for the neck size. When I tried to file it down it snapped in half.

It fits perfectly in a ‘22 Fender Player Plus Telecaster. I was worried it wouldn’t be right because the neck is a 12” radius, but this nut has the same curve as the one that came originally with my guitar. The slots are cut perfectly and the plastic seems to be slightly better quality than my original one. Also, the slots align exactly with the original and the height is good. It comes from the Mexican factory, which makes me wonder why it’s so much better quality than the one installed on the guitar.

Six months ago, my Fender Tele Ultra (Texas Tea🔥) began warbling on the open high b and e strings. I tried everything to fix the issue, but finally I attributed it to the nut. Unfortunately, Fender said that particular bone nut is custom made by a 3rd party to fit the compound radius. So, before spending the money with a luthier, I got this cheap nut as it fit the specs. What can I say? It’s worked wonders. The warble is gone and it cheap enough that I didn’t mind testing my sanding skills for lowering the grooves. I used sandpaper wrapped around feeler gauges, then rounded the grooves with cheap needle files. Gets the job done for now. It seems the warble came from the break angle being too shallow on prior nut. I also live in Houston where humidity is constantly messing with my guitars.

Bought 3 other nuts, even the so called graph tech tusq xl for fender and it was okay but wasn’t quite right. This nut although it says melamine don’t let it turn you off it’s the near perfect fit for a Fender Mexican Stratocaster. This was going on a 2021 strat and I just had to sand the edges of the nut and it dropped right in place very little work on my part which is the point, you don’t want to spend too much time on this and more on playing! Just buy this one!
