The Flatback style is kinda niche and really only useful for layout work (ie: it’s not general purpose) but is RELLY good in that use case. The story pole functionality is useful for transferring measurements but I would have preferred just the lefty/righty variant if it was available.Mine was accurate to a little worse than 1/64th so fine for a tape measure (especially at the sub $20 price point).Overall happy with this

I've used a lot of tape measures over the years and this one is by far my favorite. Durable, built-in pencil sharpener, and the flat back makes it incredibly easy to get an accurate measurement when woodworking.

Best tape measures on the market. Prices are extremely reasonable, would honestly pay 50-100% more for these.

I saw this tape measure in a video on instgram and knew it would help me in measuring everything. Sometimes I have a...chaotic way of measuring and then remembering what the measurement was, and after using this a couple times, I know already its going to be like turning on a light.Sometimes products like this seem stupid or unnecessary to those who can measure things and then remember for people who have too many squirrels and not enough trees for a brain, this reminds me sometimes it's just having the right tools for the job.If i could buy the designer of this a drink, I so totally would!

This Flatback 16 Foot Tape has quickly become my new favorite tape measure. It’s incredibly accurate, which has been a game-changer for me while building woodworking projects. The flat tape design makes it much easier to mark my workpieces precisely, which is essential when working on detailed builds like cabinets. I’ve been very happy with its performance.
