Everything about this blanket is great for outdoor use…EXCEPT THAT IT SMELLS SO BAD. I’ve washed it and let it air out for weeks and it hasn’t helped enough to want to use it. It’s a strange chemical smell that is headache-inducing. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I hope the smell will fade with time and it has great potential. But WOW does it STINK.

It’s perfect for the beach but a bit tricky to fold up. Once it’s folded, it’s not bulky which is nice foe storage. Maybe revisit the folding seams.

i mainly used this for the beach, i had weighted towels that have a bottom with this material. problem was once you used it, it would be HEAVY from being wet & took forever to dry. also only fit one person. this product, i used it for the beach first! very lightweight, if it’s windy please have a beach bag or something to weigh it down. we put our towels on top of it, fits 2-3 people each depending on the size! i highly recommend this product. perfect for picnics, beach time, even just sitting in your backyard!

Nice, big blanket, my family of 5 can all fit on it. waterproof material is great with kids and a dog. I haven't fought with it yet to fold it up. Light enough for my 3 year old to help carry!
