Something that always bothered me when recording videos with the webcam was that the webcam would shake when typing or moving the desk. I had the same issue with my monitor until I mounted the monitor on the wall. So I decided why not install the webcam onto the wall too and what a great upgrade that was. The video is no longer shaky when I'm recording videos while typing or playing on a gamepad. The mount was easy to install with the included wall anchors and the webcam easily screws on to the mount. This webcam mount is almost the exact same design as my microphone boom arm that I have too. Overall the quality is fine and such a basic product gets an easy 10/10 rating

This adjustable wall mounted arm was simple to install and works without issue. It is a bit flimsy and I would not expect it to work well for anything heavier than a webcam. Even with just a webcam it's best used in a stationary setting as fully extended it can vibrate or move a bit with surrounding vibrations.I am using this to have a webcam at a non-desk area so I can still do calls when just in my media room and it works well for that purpose.

This is a good looking spring arm with one major issue. It is so loud. The springs and hinges seem to be squeaking/pinging as you articulate the mount. It’s a bit over sprung for the weight of the camera and the tension is off. I think this was meant for a microphone. Now it does work but I’ve purchased spring and even gas monitor arms for just a little bit more than this without the hiccups. If they tweak it a bit I’d give it the full score. Now as for utility, it’s very handy. I have a standing desk and I can adjust the height to fit both perspectives. It also has opened desk space previously taken by a tripod.

I have had issues with when I want to move or change the angle of my webcam and finding the right position that it stays in place without taking too much space on my desk. With it having a standard tripod mount makes it signifigantly better for other cameras or mics that have that type of mount for extra angles available. I have it holding my webcam to allow easy use for my vtuber use, recording stuff i work on, or anything that I would use it for. Overall with it being the standard cylinder mount at the base it can also work with other similar gooseneck systems.

The arm itself is good and operates well. It adjusts in most directions. The camera mount fits well and has a ring nut to adjust the depth of the mounting screw to your device. It fits very securely. The horizontal mounting cylinder has a screw to tighten and holds the mounting arm firmly in place. The camera mount also has a screw to hold the camera position in place. The elbow of the arm holds securely. The arm remains stable in the mount. The downside to this mount is it extends a good six inches from the wall. It would not fit behind a flush mount monitor. You need 6-8 inches of clearance to move freely. Also, the mobility of the arm is limited if the mount is flush to a wall. The back elbow will bump the wall. I was able to mount about a foot to the right of my monitor and still get a decent center camera position. The other issue I ran into was the wall mount is actually two pieces. There is a plastic piece that mounts to the wall. There is a second metal plate that extends out from the wall and holds the cylinder to the mount. I discovered this after mounting everything to the wall and discovering a tremendous wobble. I had to remove the mount from the wall after which I discovered the metal plate is held to the plastic by two small screws. I was able to tighten them down, but it warped the plastic. I'm concerned this could loosen over time if the camera is moved often. For now, it is secure and stable. The camera mount at the end of the arm is a bit awkward in design. It rotates 180 degrees in one direction to give you a range of upward and downward positions. However, most cameras only have a bottom screw hole for mounting. The left to right camera angle depend on screwing in or out the mount and using the cylinder nut to secure it in place. It's a bit inconvenient and limits the camera positioning options.Pros:- Good arm stability- Does hold firmCons:- Limited mobility- Mounting Cylinder too far from wallOverall, not bad and could be used with microphones or other devices. Still, it left me wishing for more mobility.
