Very early review so I can’t comment on the battery life and I’m not using the remote. I installed two lights in a coat closet and they were easy to install and work perfectly.

I’m currently in a rental property which has no light in a secondary shower. To avoid damage by screwing in the holding plate, I used a fairly strong Command hook-and-loop product, which has worked very well for the 5 weeks I’ve had this light. I’ve even used that same product on the back of the remote, so the person in the shower can access it on the wall without it getting wet or going missing.There are a couple of improvements that would take this light to a 5-star, and even warrant a bit of a price hike; however, they’re not cons due to the light being so inexpensive and excellent at what it does and offers:- having to get the light down and charge it a couple of times a week. This being a bathroom, the only outlets are by the sink, which is about 8 feet away. The approximately 18” charger that came with it is fine though. However, having a longer charger wouldn’t help for this product because the charging port is on the underside, necessitating the light be taken down each time to charge it anyway.- lack of a battery level indicator. In the same place that the red/green light is when charging, a blue light flashes at the 25% battery level, and perhaps quickly alternating the red and blue lights as a 10% battery level indicator, to know when to charge before it’s fully dead (which always seems to occur when the youngest, and scariest kid, is in the shower.)
