This wasn't as bad as reshelling my PS5 controller. Not easy per se, but definitely easier. Watching a YouTube video will help anyone who is inexperienced. That said, this shell has a nice soft rubbery feel to it. The buttons all fit perfectly in the shell face and have little wiggle room. The final look is great and brings back an early 90's look to my last-gen console controller.

Es muy fácil de montar, siempre y cuando uno vea el tutorial en youtube que señala el instructivo, el diseño es espectacular, la calidad de la carcasa es muy buena, se siente muy suave y aterciopelada.No le pongo 5 estrellas ya que el paquete no contiene el desarmador que se utiliza para desmontar la placa. y es 100% necesario para poder ponerle los botones al control, de no contar con ese desarmador el diseño quedaría incompleto ya que sería imposible montar los botones.

I really like the product, it take me a hour to figure out how put all the pieces together, also I don't know why but if you want to change the buttons you should have a special screwdriver (I mean more little) because it doesn't come in the packages only come the screwdriver for the outside screws (the big one).

Excelente producto, solo le falta mas precisión al plástico para que embone mejor, pero en general son materiales de excelente calidad

I received a message from the seller with an offer to send me a T6 screwdriver. I didn't see the message right away due to how Amazon structures their website, so by the time I saw the seller's offer, I had bought a screwdriver kit that had a T6 bit included.As far as the quality of the shell, it's excellent. I was worried that the "soft touch" was going to feel weird, but it actually feels pretty high quality. My only gripe with this product is that the buttons I received were faulty due to them not registering every time I pressed them. I'm waiting for a replacement from Amazon, so fingers crossed these buttons will be better 🤞.OLD REVIEW:The NES style shell doesn't come with one out of the two screwdrivers you need to install everything. Specifically you can only install the shell without the red ABXY buttons, which for me is pointless because it ruins the whole look of the shell to keep the original buttons in the controller.The reason as to why you can't replace the ABXY buttons with this kit is that you have to use a T6 Torx bit screwdriver to unscrew the motherboard in order to remove the original buttons and install the new red ones.I am really upset that eXtremeRate did not include all the necessary tools for me to install everything. The shell feels excellent and high quality, but due to the fact that I can't install the red ABXY buttons for the full NES look, I'm giving this product 1 star.

Changing out the ABXY buttons is extremely labor intensive and requires a soldering iron. Not mentioned in the description. You literally have to take the Entire controller apart, chipboard included, to replace the buttons. The shell itself though is straightforward and simple enough. I had a red sport controller which had red buttons anyways so I used that. I’m extremely happy with the result!
