I have looking for replacement battery for a couple years now and finally found the right one! Fits just like the original battery, now let’s see how long these last!

My drill uses the single spring clip on the long end of the battery. While this battery will accommodate this clip, it also has two side clips that are not shown in the picture and are not needed in my application. However, they don't interfere with proper installation of the battery. It works fine.

I made the mistake of ordering what I thought was this replacement battery for my dated Makita 6903 VD driver (What can I say, the Makita was a gift, but I use this darn thing nearly everyday, it just works). Anyway what I first got was "MaximalPower 9.6 2000mAh NiCd power tool Battery replacement for Makita 9120, etc..." It was not as depicted in the picture as it had the "universal" side buttons for what I assume is newer drivers, as well as the clip-lock on the back for older models like mine. Oh it fit into my driver and even worked, that is until I tried to remove the unit for recharging. For some reason it was unusually tight and I was wondering if I was going to get the dang thing out? I did and immediately returned it and ordered the one you see here from ExpertPower.What a joy it is to have the proper replacement for my trusty old Makita! Yes it does match the pic, and yes it works wonderful, and holds a good charge for a commendable amount of time.
