This pack of paper seems identical to the sheets that come with the EvZ 6-ring 7" Leather Writing Journal Notebook. I've experimented a little with ball point pen, pencils, fine-point markers, and even highlighters but 99% of my writing on these is with fine- or medium-point fountain pens and I've had no problems whatsoever with bleedthrough, blotting, or spreading. I chose the unlined Kraft paper style to match what was already in the notebook(s) I've purchased and to maintain the option of easily drawing or writing freely at any angle and these pages have served admirably.The only negative comments I can come up with are that they're small so I need to be more careful than usual with my big, sloppy penmanship if I don't want to use too many pages, and I sometimes have a hard time keeping my writing straight because of the lack of lines. Neither of these "negatives" is an actual problem with the product; I specifically chose the small form factor for portability over writing space, and it's my own darn fault that I can't write in (or draw!) a straight line without some kind of aid. I merely include those comments as a caveat for anyone else whose penmanship is less than wonderful.I'm sure I will need more of this paper in the future -- and I won't hesitate to buy it again!

I ordered these refill pages for a vintage diary. They fit perfectly and the color and texture of the paper is a perfect match for the diary I am using. I use fountain pens and I love the paper because it is neither too thick or thin and even the wettest ink doesn't leak through so I can journal on both sides of the page. I also like the way the ink writes on the paper. The ink shows up clearly without wicking as some papers do. This is ideal for journaling or sketching and I am fond of the vintage color, sort of an evenly aged light brown tint. I have used different colors of ink on this paper and all appear with crisp lines, easily readable, but they appear as if the words could have been written on the page a hundred years ago instead of hundreds of minutes earlier. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but after using the refill, I believe you get what you pay for with this product. It gets a solid five star rating from me.
