I made approximately 1 dozen cuts on .11 x 1" x3" mild steel rectangular tubing. The cuts were spread out over the course of 90 minutes, i.e. not 12 consecutive cuts. The blade lost its edge and started heating the substrate. I replaced it with a Diablo that had a slightly less finished edge on the cuts, but it worked much better and has lasted longer.

Bought this for my circular saw which is a different brand than Evolution but uses the same sized blade. I needed to put new box profile steel roofs onto my double stable and hay-shed which meant a lot of sheets to cut! This blade never missed a beat! Tore through the work in no time and at the end of the job was as good as new. Even the paint on the blade was still perfect. It made a lovely clean cut, no snagging and no kick back. I cut each sheet separately because I wanted a good job and time wasn’t an issue, so I don’t know how it would perform on multiples. Excellent product which is still going strong 9 months later.

These are a great price, the teeth last a very long time. If you aren't careful to keep the fence tight to the work it will vibrate. If you let this style blade vibrate/bounce around the hardened teeth will undoubtedly not last. I've gotten about a year out of 2 blades. I keep one on the saw and one on the truck. These rip through W beams and other structural steel. Much faster than torching to cope beams. I've found they will last unless you push too hard or accidentally let them jump/bounce. Well worth the money. Every job I go on people come up and watch it cut beams.
