Too small for my car... I didn't notice it was 3 passes.. I thought it was 4... good materials though but it fits smaller cars like a Hyundai accent or a Yaris

Update after 4 months of use: This oil cooler is still holding up great, but the included hoses have started leaking and after inspecting them, they have started to crack already too. If you get this kit for your car, I HIGHLY recommend getting different hoses. This one has only lasted 4 months and is starting to crack. I'm going to replace it with a Gates hose from my local car parts store as it has better quality ratings so hopefully it will last more than 4 months. I marked this kit down 1 star due to the crappy hose that was included with the kit.Original review: I grew tired of the constant leaking oil cooler lines that go to the plastic side tanks of my 96 Impala. Every-time i replaced the radiator, the oil and transmission cooler lines would have different sized adapters to connect the metal cooler lines, which ALWAYS leaked. I used this kit to cut off the screw-in flared steel lines and clamped them to this oil cooler. This kit has all you need to do this including enough hose fore both in and out lines to connect to. So far its holding up just fine and it does still keep the engine temps the same if not a little cooler without messing with the leaky connections to the radiator side tanks. I should have done this earlier.

Love this thing, used it to separate my transmission from the radiator in my 1995 Prado.

It fit perfect for my application. Bought for my chevelle as I was upgrading the radiator and getting ready for the show/cruising/road trip season. You get everything you need to install it. Definitely worth the money. It installs easy and looks like it'll hold up well.

Bought this for a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis. My daily commute frequently has me stuck in stop and go traffic and although I don't have a temp gauge for the transmission it was pretty noticable when you could feel the transmission fluid was getting a bit too hot. Shifts would be a tad bit jerky and as soon as you started moving at a good pace it disappears. And I just changed the transmission fluid and filter so I was looking for a bit of "insurance".On my car the factory trans cooler is linked to the passenger side of the radiator. Here in NJ the summers can get extremely hot and humid. Having my radiator balance between cooling my engine, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid felt a bit excessive to me so I decided to mount a auxiliary cooler for it. Because I didn't want the transmission fluid to get too cold in winter (which can also be brutal here) I kept the cooler inline with the radiator so the transmission fluid can warm up along with the coolant.I mounted it in front of the cooling fan and right behind the grille. It wasn't hard and routing it was straight forward although I did need 4 more feet of 5/16 hose. In my application it goes from transmission to auxiliary cooler, to radiator cooler, and back to transmission. Do note in the pictures I used fuel injection style hose clamps. I highly recommend these as they clamp better and don't risk cutting into the hose like traditional worm gear clamps. After a long day and night drive I noticed the transmission behaving much different. Shifts stayed consistent and smooth. Even in high temperatures and stuck in traffic the transmission wouldn't jerk or shift a bit harsh like it did. These 4R70W transmission DO NOT like hot temperatures so I think the transmission and fluid thank me for that. Also note my transmission capacity increased by about half a quart so be aware of that. I don't know how it'll behave in winter with cold temps but I will say that I'd rather have my transmission fluid and transmission itself cooled excessively than cooked. We'll see how longevity factors in over time but so far I'm happy.
