I bought an adjustable height desk for my grandson and he loves it so much, he prompted me to get one as well. I saw this L shaped one and dove right in! I'm handy with tools so this was easy to assemble. I often have people call me to assemble their items, so I understand the struggle. If you're not handy, approach assembly slow or get help in advance.Sitting too long at my desk causes knee and back pain, standing to type at a low desk causes neck pain. Having an adjustable desk is such a back / neck / knee saver, I don't think I'll ever go back to the constant sit. I cant bring myself to part with my antique roll top desk, though.At $300, this L shape desk provides more desk area than my grandson's straight one at the same price, although his is white smooth glass and looks cooler. I'm more into function and often have papers all over the desk. I really like the desk, and if you have the space, I recommend it.

I got this because I have a back corner in my living room that it will fit perfectly in, and this will be a big upgrade from my lap desk I use currently when I work from home. Unfortunately, I have a big recliner there currently that I'm trying to get rid of, so I haven't assembled this yet. That said, I did open up the box and read through the directions and they seem very clear and concise.Since I haven't cleared space for this yet, this is currently in my storage unit but I will be sure to follow up once I have it all assembled. I'm giving this five stars for now because I have no reason not to, but as I already said I will follow up and update my review accordingly once I've gotten this fully assembled.
