These are actually very beautiful. They have great detail and look really good. They have a nice weight to them so that they can hold up books or DVDs or Games or books as well. As I said, detail is phenomenal. The build quality is great too. They can pass of as something more expensive. The size is good, not too large or too small. Appropriate for a book shelf or entertainment center. For the price, I think they should charge more to be honest. All in all, I love them and I know that you will too.

I think items you display around your home should say something about you. It’s ok to have some ‘shelf sitters’, but when you find things that are meaningful to you, you begin to make your house into a home. I was raised in a home where politics and the importance of our responsibilities and freedoms, were regularly discussed. I think that is where my love began for the bald eagle and all it stands for.I have had a bald eagle statue on the shelves in our entry way for several years. A couple of months ago a friend was over and looking at this symbol of the strength and endurance of our country.Unfortunately, the porcelain eagle was not as strong as the symbolism and part of a wing was broken off while our friend was handling it. They were aghast and of course wanted to pay for it, which we definitely turned down.The symbolism of the bald eagle is important, this particular porcelain bird, was not. I simply found an eagle I liked on the secondary market. I tend to look for deals.😊 We were not attached to this particular bird, but did want to replace the symbolism. This eagle, (and elephant), are made of resin so they are still breakable, but it is a more solid piece so I think it will last longer.Both of these pieces are lovely and will look great in your home or office. I have always loved elephants as well so this was a good combination for me, although they will not be displayed together. You can display these together or you can keep one and gift one. They are each lovely enough to be stand alone presents. We are happy with our new eagle.
