Not my first rodeo, er... net. I got this volleyball practice net as a replacement to the one that some unusually strong winds decided to give to the neighbors a few streets over. This net is a good light to medium duty use net.For starters, practice nets like this are generally for solo use. This one is a perfect backyard setup, even better if it can back up against a high brick wall. You'll want to stake it or sandbag it to keep it still. The poles are pretty standard, like tent poles, strong but not invincible. The netting and cloth are medium grade. We went all out on our first purchase and got the top of the top of the line which didn't do me any good when the whole thing got sent to Oz. This quality level is definitely good enough for at home use. If you're considering breaking the bank for a new player, this is probably a good starting point while you see if she stays for more than one season. It's technically portable, but from a practical standpoint it's more like "storable."A bargain price under $200 (when on sale) and fully functional. The preset net heights are handy, you don't have to fumble with anything to set the height to your height.

It is a large very good product a little complicated to take down and put up but works as advertised. The biggest issue I have is the polls are smooth, but they have fiberglass splinters so when you’re putting it together, we’ve done this four times now you get splinters in your hands every time they’re tiny and you can hardly see them. It is a real issue with a product that you pay this much money for.

Easy to install. Wear gloves as you will get fiberglass slivers. Seller was easy to work with. Granddaughter loves the net.

The concept is pretty decent, but one of the poles shattered after a couple months of minor use, which is disappointing. It’s has a huge lean and is no longer usable. I’m still pulling splinters out of my hands.
