Works way better than the metal candy thermometer I had. Don't have to bend down to look at temp. And you can pull the rod out of the spatula and probe the Temps of meats you are cooking in oven. Very versatile kitchen tool. Wish I would have bought it years ago.

This product only worked for a short time and then off and on and then not at all. It is junk. Amazon won't help and cannot find a way to contact seller.

No funciona bien el termometro dentro de la espatula, ni la espatula es tan util por lo rigida, pero es un buen lugar para guardar el termometro y la calidad del material y construccion es muy buena. El termometro en si es muy bueno, señala fracciones de grados lo cual es muy util para hacer dulces y chocolates.

Using this spatula thermometer has made our candy making so much easier. The digital readout has tenth degree increments for precise measuring. Easy to clean.

Spatula has to be completely submerged in product in order to read the temperature, does not work with small amounts

I have always found my alcohol thermometer hard to read as the jam bubbles over the numbers. With this digital thermometer it is so easy to read and I got perfect results on the small batch of marmalade I made. However, because it was a small batch I did find that I had to make sure the spatula end was well covered, I don't think the thermometer would work well with a low depth of "sauce". The instructions on the packaging make poor reading, on first read you will think you need to put in a battery but it does have an battery installed which is just as well as I still can't work out how to release the battery cover.

Muy practica, puedes retirar la pala para quedarte solo con el termómetro. Fácil limpieza.
