Yup, this is a real review from a real person and I was not paid for this testimonial.I purchased one of these during Covid when I was working from home. Alot of the options for stand up desks are cool, but heavy and single purpose. This stand was nice because it was strong, sturdy, adjustable and portable. When I went back to the office I started using this in the garage. It was a good place for my laptop, phone and keys, but doing diagnostic repairs allowed me to have the laptop close to the engine without having it in the unsteady engine bay. Later I brought it back in and used it as a tray table for my recliner, had my laptop there so I could work, used it for tray for dinner. It worked so well that I bought a second one for the other chair.Simply put I love things that have multiple uses are portable and adjustable. Highly recommend it if those things are important to you.

Nice looking, easy lifting pneumatic table. It raises very high! Good size (small but big enough for laptop, work space, and beverage). Definitely utilitarian rather than elegant, but still nice, high quality and sturdy. The packaging is very professional and protective. Very simple assembly with good instructions. The key to assembly, however, is patience. It's just screws using (mostly) an included Allen wrench. But don't put in one screw at a time trying to tighten each one all the way on the first shot. Put them in most of the way and then go around and re-tighten each one several times until they are all even and fully tightened. Use this approach with both base and top and it will be level and sturdy. If yours wobbles or isn't level, backtrack and do it this way. Casters are optional--easy leveling with the rubber feet if you don't need casters. It is well engineered.

I haven't ever done a review on anything I've purchased on Amazon, but I am very, very happy with this product so I wanted to share my own experience after having used it for awhile now. This desk was very easy to assemble. It raises and lowers very easily and gets to a perfect height for me when standing (I'm a bit over 6 feet tall). The size of the desk is a great size for the weight and physical dimensions of laptop computers. I'm a musician and like to practice guitar standing up sometimes and I write music on the computer so I can do that easily now by raising the desk up with the pneumatic (?) system that you see on office chairs. It raises easily and locks at the height you raise it to. Then to lower it, you just push down while squeezing the handle on the right (as you might do on an office chair). There are many electronic adjustable desks but they are much larger and so the width and overall dimensions worked best for the space I have. I actually have just come back to order another one but I'm seeing a product not currently available, so I'm hoping that's just a temporary thing as I could use a 2nd one of these for downstairs at my place. Shipping was reasonable and arrived in a timely fashion so I have nothing but positive things to say about this product. Hope that helps any others shopping for a similar item.

This desk is great! It was packaged well, with some thin pieces of wood bolstering the insides of the box, and lots of good padding inside the box to separate all of the pieces. All needed pieces were included, and I put it together carefully in about 40 minutes. (I am a careful direction-follower who actually counts all of the pieces of hardware before I begin!) If feels solid and stable while also not being too heavy to move around. The height adjustment feature on mine works perfectly and smoothly. Even my 10-year-old son can operate it! He and I have been taking turns using the desk during the pandemic. I looked at several models online and read a lot of reviews before buying this one, and I am very glad it has worked out perfect for me!

Working from home, I need to make sure I move around more during the day to stay healthy. I bought this standing desk to allow me to stand during meetings and not sit the entire day. Some have complained that this desk did not come with wheels but I specifically purchased this model because it didn't have wheels (one of the only ones I could find without wheels). I have hardwood floors in my office so if I had wheels on the standing desk, it would constantly move around and be impossible to use. I put a few felt pads on the feet and I can slide it around my office as needed. The desk is super sturdy (even while my cats are jumping onto it while I'm working), easy to assemble, and everything I was looking for! I searched for weeks for the perfect standing desk and I found it right here!
