We are presently building a high-end gaming computer. It will have an i9-14900KS, 4090 Graphics Card, AIO cooling, and quite a few fans. Because of this, we picked an ASSUS 1200-watt Platinum Power Supply. As we were building, we realized that the ASUS motherboard needed a 6-pin EPS cable in addition to the two 8-pin cables. We had to shut down the build while we waited for Amazon to deliver this 8/6 pin EPS cable. Luckily, it was delivered the next day so we could finish, but I still don't understand why, when you spend that much on a premium power supply, they don't include the necessary cables. There were three SATA cables, which most builds no longer use. This is a quality cable, and we bought a few so that the same situation does not cause us an issue again.

Recently bought an Asus motherboard that uses 8pin + 4 pin and my power supply only came with the standard 8 pin cable. Now I can use this adapter to help solve that problem without changing psu or motherboard. Well done and I like the all black look that went well with my build.
