I love this thing! It keeps things from sliding around as much in my trunk and can be easily taken down when not in use. It's sturdy and has a pocket between the layers for extra small items. I highly recommend, especially if you have a rubber matt in your trunk. It also comes with extra clips, so you can more easily install in your car if you have metal hooks instead of the pop-out hooks. Thank you!

I was kinda skeptical about this purchase seeing how many reviews stated it didn't fit or wouldn't work without some kind of modification/adjustment... However it works perfectly in my 2020 Outback, instalation was quick and easy.I attached the clips to the tie down anchors in the cargo area and then put the loops thru the bag hooks on the top, then pushed the bag hooks in till they locked. Its a little tight to close them but they do close and lock without any problems, they still function as they normally would too so they still drop down if you want them too.It seems really sturdy and im sure it'll work for normal use but I'm not sure how much weight those top hooks can really handle.

First thing: Prime delivery in 1 day. Can't beat that. And the price of the cargo net is quite reasonable, especially for the quality of materials. I think this will last for many years. It's a bit tall for the space between connection points, but the width is perfect - not too tight.Like many other reviewers the difficult part was the top connection. If just looped over the bag holder it falls off easily. The cords are really too big to fit around the bag holder when it's closed and I worry about the stress put on the clip. One person suggested some thin bands which sounds like a great idea although I wonder if that would make the top too long.My solution hasn't been tested with any weight in the cargo net yet, but the photos tell the story.1) Combine the clip and the round clamp2) Connect the top loop through the extra clip3) Behind the bag holder you'll see a hole where the screw is for fastening the bag holder to the car. It's the perfect size for that round clamp that was meant for the fabric loop4) If you aim right you can push the clamp in the hole far enough back that the clip is inside of the bag holder lip. (Good thing I have pictures!) It's not so snug that you can't pull it out, although you might need a small screwdriver or needle nose pliers to pull the round clamp out if it comes off the clip. Really easy. The clip is back far enough it should hold the net in place even when there is weight in the net, and it's not putting pressure on the bag holder.

MUCH cheaper than the Subaru branded envelope net.Fits easily across the rear opening - almost without tension.The bottom has S-hooks which easily grab the fold-out D-rings at the bottom of the trunk.The top has stretch-cord hoops to attach to the fold-out hooks in the trunk.These connections are tenuous because the fold-out hooks are L-shaped and the hoops easily pop-off the L-hooks with just a little vertical pressure. I wonder if the Subaru OEM version is vertically shorter than this item. If it is shorter, then there would be bungee-cord tension between the top L-hook and the bottom connection, alleviating the concern of the hoop popping-off.My fingers are crossed that this will work well, and the top hoops won't constantly pop-off. I'll update this review with pros and cons.
