This item worked perfectly on my 2012 Subaru Forester. I lost a key & FOB. The new Key was purchased from Subaru and I had them program the new FOB.

Product doesn't work. At all.We bought this for our 2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Tried to program it with the car, nothing. Tried again, nothing. Replaced the battery twice. Nothing.We even de/re-programmed another fob that works for the same car, and that process worked. This one doesn't. And now we're three weeks past our return window ... I'd like to find a way to resolve this.

The product works great! Programming instructions (which I obtained from an on-line forum ... they were neither included - as the listing stated - or provided by the seller when I completed the on-line form to receive them) were easy enough to follow. It worked for me the first time.Bottom line, the goal of replacing one of my two key fobs (which was lost) was achieved. The product looks and functions the same as the OEM part. Make sure you match the FCC number, and (depending on the FCC number) the country of origin. If you order the right one, it should work (instructions are available on-line if ... as in my case ... the seller does not provide them.)
