Item works great for a few months, then the cooling ability takes a nose dive.Even blowing out the fins did absolutely nothing for this item.

If you have the power, it gets really cold. But then, it will suddenly be warm. I suppose they chose at least one crappy component that's already failed.If it didn't quit working, it'd be great. But it does, so it's not.Update: they offered a full refund, did not ask me to update my review, and I do understand failure rates of even the best available components. Seems like a stand-up place and, as I said, it got really cold really fast. Again, keep in mind, you do need more power to get colder.

I have no idea how this thing works but it keeps my Ipad going in 95 degree temps in the sun. This is amazing and definitely recommended it

Can was delivered on aug10th and stopped working on the 25th of sept. Worked well only with certain wall chargers (never worked with Apple brand chargers up to 40w)

I just received this 30w tablet cooler and have had the 20w version for a while now. I was expecting a big difference in the cooling however, it seems with this version, the cooling plate is not there, with the 20w, the entire bottom gets ice cold and with this 30w, you can see the square of the TEC chip when it gets cold and outside of the area of the chip, it's just not that cold. It seems as the actual fan is a bit smaller in diameter vs the 20w version but the heatsink fins are taller. I do like the solid transitioning of light from the led's on the 30w over the very flashy leds in the 20w. Overall, it works but for $5 less the 20w will work just as well if not a little better thanks to the more even spread of the cold surface area. I will update with pictures showing the differences a bit later.Update: I found a pretty old QC 2.0 power brick and surprisingly it works on the higher settings. I don't know what wattage the brick is since this was back before it was common for the wattage to be included with the info on them. It seems like maybe some corners were cut to keep the cost lower and increase the wattage of the TEC chip or they just didn't install what was needed to make this cooler work with newer QC or PD bricks. The small QC 2.0 brick it works with gets pretty hot on the hi setting. I'm sure it's not designed to run 30 watts for extended periods. I should have stated that my slightly older 20w version of this cooler by the same brand works with my newer QC and PD power bricks. Most will run it on HI while a couple won't.
