I got this unit to replace a Hessaire unit that I have been using for a couple of years in our barn and has started having problems. This unit is very similar to our old unit as it has same colors, materials and features, but for a lower price. Functionality is the same and its a good medium sized evaporative cooler. It has good airflow and does a good job cooling our barn down. Our unit has been fairly quiet.I do want to point out that most people will probably use this in a garage or shop environment and I do think that in most cases, that will work just fine. I personally believe that this will bring less relief in more humid climates if in an enclosed area, but our experience has been great.I think this unit is an excellent value for the money, but it is not perfect. I'm not a big fan of the buttons and would prefer a dial/switch. Some of my dislikes are subjective and others come from experience with a few different models of evaporative cooling units.

Hot days in a big open space can be brutal, but this air cooler makes a huge difference. It’s not just moving air around—it actually cools it down in a noticeable way, especially when you’ve got the water tank filled up. The 3-in-1 function really comes through, adding just enough humidity without feeling muggy. It’s handled the heat in a 600 square foot space without breaking a sweat. The tank is big enough to run for hours, and the auto-refill option is a great touch. Hooked it up to a hose, and that was one less thing to worry about. When I want to go manual, the water level indicator makes it easy to know when to top off.Mobility is another win here. The casters roll smoothly even on concrete, and with the side handles, it’s not a chore to shift it from one area to another. The brakes hold steady, which helps when placing it on slight inclines or uneven surfaces.Power usage stays low, which is surprising for something that moves this much air. It hums along without eating up energy, and the controls couldn’t be more straightforward. Just three switches—speed, pump, and swing—and you’re set. This thing pulls its weight. Whether it’s a workshop, backyard hangout, or a warehouse corner, it cools things down fast and doesn’t need much attention once it’s running.

Youget Tech Evaporative cooler that performs well, is quality built, lightweight, and easy to operate. The cooler arrives in a big box and the unit is lightweight enough to easily lift out of the box. The black protective vinyl cover is already installed, remove the cover, open the top storage compartment lid, remove the wheel casters, lay the unit on its side, install the casters with the included Phillips screws, install the hose fitting, stand the unit up, add water, plug it in, and you are ready to go. Super simple. You will need your own screwdriver. The manual is detailed, easy to read, and understand. Fold the vinyl cover and put it and the manual in the top storage compartment so it stays safe and it's easy to remember where you put them. Two of the four casters have locking mechanisms, I suggest installing the locking pieces on the bottom front of the unit because the blower fan pushes so much volume that the unit will easily move backwards if there is no water in the tank.Water is added through a front panel or by connecting a hose to it that is then controlled by a shut off float much like those in a toilet tank.If maintenance is needed, simply remove four Phillips screws from the rear panel and slide the panel slightly up and off. The interior water mats are easily removed. The pump is a very common one used for coolers or water fountains and is easy to replace if it ever fails. The unit is plastic so there is no possibility of rust issues. The cooler water pump is almost silent. The blower fan has three settings and will move large volumes of air. The fan noise level ranges from 56 to 65 decibels when tested at a distance of three feet away and directly in front and in the air stream. There is a button that automatically controls the oscillating function of the interior vertical louvers and you manually adjust the outer horizontal louvers. The unit can be run with water as a cooler or without water and just the fan.The unit is lightweight and easily rolls on the rubber wheels. The caster bearings are smooth and quiet. The locks engage and disengage with minimal effort. It is late spring in Utah and daytime temps were 72 degrees when I tested the cooler in a 24 x 24 foot garage with the overhead door open. Using water from the garage water faucet, I put approximately five gallons of water in the tank, inserted a tempurature probe in the front louvers, turned the blower fan to the highest setting, and was able to achieve a tempurature of 45 degrees in a matter of minutes. To me, this is a great unit due to simplicity of operation and maintenance, ease of mobility, lightweight yet sturdy construction, great performance, and a price that appears to be similar, if not slightly lower, to comparable units sold at my local big box home improvement stores.

This unit moves a lot of air. The air is slightly cooler than ambient temperature. It holds a lot of water, and this is a large unit. It rolls easily. It does not require ice packs. Instructions say to have a window open behind it and across the room from it. Of course it's not as effective as an actual air conditioner, but it doesn't take as much energy to run as an air conditioner either. It was awkward to fill. The fan really moves a lot of air.

This YougetTech 37" evaporative cooler is a decent option for large spaces up to 720 sq. ft. in dry climates. The 8-gallon water tank can run for a good amount of time without needing refills, and the three-speed settings and oscillation provide some control over the airflow. It's not lightweight, but it is portable, so it can be moved around as necessary. It's important to note that swamp coolers are most effective in low humidity, and this won't work like a traditional air conditioner in very humid conditions. It's a more energy-efficient cooling solution for the right environment.
