Works better than expected. I thought I’d be changing batteries all the time. I’m not

I bought 4 of these to use in my living room. They install easily and I love the fact that one switch can control all four lights. They don't come on all at once but they do turn off all at once... until they didn't. I now have 1 light that will not respond to the switch and will not turn off. I just installed these today and less than 2hrs later I already have a malfunction. According to the box the light shuts off automatically after 1hr, but since these are battery operated (C batteries) I'm going to run through batteries like crazy, unless I want to physically climb up a ladder, unscrew the light and pop a battery out every time I want to turn it off. Total bummer. I really like what they did for my room except for this issue.

Purchased 4 of these lights for our living room because we have no overhead lighting. I figured this would be a good solution without having to professionally install lighting. I had read a lot of reviews that said it eats batteries but figured I would still try them out. I made sure to get brand new, good quality batteries (energizer brand). We hung them up with command strips that way we wouldn’t have tiny holes all in our ceiling if they didn’t work out, which is a good thing we did.The size and look of the lights was overall great and exactly what I was looking for. The light switch is also a awesome feature. Each one comes with a remote so we put one switch up on the wall nearby and kept another one in our coffee table. I also love that no matter what remote you used it synced and controlled all 4 lights. They looked really good once installed and worked well at first. The one hour time out was not ideal considering we had them in our living room but it was a small compromise compared to having no light.Unfortunately, we only had them installed for about 2 weeks and they started to significantly dim. What’s weird is 1 of the 4 lights I had only just put batteries in last week and that one started to dim also. It’s like once one started to lose battery they all went lower? Which doesn’t make sense but that’s what happened. The amount of hours we actually had used the lights in the last 2 weeks couldn’t have been more than maybe 8-10 hours. We really didn’t use them a lot at all. But I’m sure even being off they were using batteries. With that I had to return them because it’s just not practical to replace 4 C batteries that often. Especially since C batteries are not cheap. If Energizer could figure out how to fix this issue they would be perfect! I wish they would have worked out

They are made very poorly. The batteries have too much play against the contacts. I bought brand new batteries, fully charged them and it doesn't react to motion. I gave it a couple of taps to make it go on.Sometimes it works if you hit it. They are not made well.I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Purchased two units circa Jan. 2022 for use attached to cabinets over work bench. The units do not perform as advertised. After insertion of 4 C batteries, the units light for about 15 seconds. I was unable to get either unit to light by motion detection after the initial light up described above. There does not appear to be any way of adjusting the motion detectors and even waiving a hand under the units does nothing. Pure junk. Mine are in the garbage. Don't waste your money.
