Nice idea. But the batteries die too quickly. Not at all like original batteries.

I've been looking to update some of my older DSLR gear. I have an upcoming event that will require me to bring my backup camera body, a Nikon D5600. I haven't used it in a while, and while testing it out recently, I found that the OEM batteries I have for it couldn't hold their charges very well. They haven't been used in a while and they've probably lost a lot of their effectiveness in that time. So, I was looking to replace them. After doing a bit of searching, I found these and decided to give them a shot. I'm glad I did, because they've been solid so far and they have great features to boot.So this battery makes my older, OEM versions pretty much obsolete. At 1650 mAh, it has over 60% more capacity then the ones they replaced. That's going to make a huge difference at my upcoming event, where every minute of extra charge could mean the difference between running out and outlasting the night. One feature that I'm particularly glad to see is the inclusion of the built-in USB C charging port. A lot of my newer batteries for my Z7 have that feature, and I've always loved not having to use an annoying dock whenever I need to top them off. Another cool feature is the charge test button. There's a tiny, little orange button that you can press so that you're able to see the capacity of the battery without having to check through a camera body interface. As for negatives, I really only have one. The plastic shell for the battery seems a bit thin, which makes it look a bit translucent. In some of my pics, you can see a bit of the green light shine through the face closest to the LEDs. It's not a huge deal, but it does look a bit cheap imo. Aside from that, it's been really solid so far. It slides into my D5600 perfectly smoothly, and works great too. It's an easy 5/5 stars from me.
