I use these for my trash cans and we have not had any issues with the raccoons getting into the trash anymore.I had a cage built around the trash cans that I didn’t need any more.They are adjustable so you can put the right amount of tension to secure the lid, but not make it hard to take off the strap.I thought they were a little expensive but they are worth it to not have to pick up the trash off the ground after the animals got in the trashcan.

I liked how easy it is to clip them on and off and how they secure tightly keeping the critters at bay!

We live in Alaska and this has kept the bears, ravens and dogs out of our trash 100%. Easy to use the trash guys asked what we bought since they’d not seen them around yet.I bought more for my parents.

I love the product. We had raccoons getting into the garbage cans at night. I tried a buckle style without any luck. I tried straps but they still got into the garbage cans. They are clever and determined. When I used this product I would find the cans on their side but they did not get in. Eventually, they stopped showing up. Victory.

Our clever country raccoons were constantly strewing trash everywhere, whenever they felt like it, knocking the cans over, which in turn popped off the lids making the garbage so easy for them to get into. They were also pretty proficient at getting the lids off without knocking the cans over. I was desperate to stop this activity as it is so annoying and time consuming to pick up after them. The devices work great!!! Once they are easily placed on the cans, they stay there even when we haul the cans to the county dump. We are extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend!
