Although I had my electrician install this, it is a simple two-wire connection into a 24-volt power source and it seems to be working very well. There is no buzzing or dimming or failure of any kind in the two weeks since we installed it. It's connected and runs my entire kitchen LED lighting and it's doing a great job. You really can't beat it for the money. I would recommend

Updated Review (02/20/2024)An EMITEVER representative reached out to me, offering to refund or resolve the issues. Their Rep added a PDF "User Guide" in this listing, which includes the install instructions. Their Rep also removed a Q&A item which suggested that this item is usually installed inside a junction box. Bottom line: (a) EMITEVER customer service went the extra mile to resolve a customers concerns, and (b) they added accurate install info. I can't judge how well these work since I returned them without installing them, but everything else was "5 star" quality. The item itself, looks well made.Additionally: One should be prepared to install this power supply someplace not flamable (i.e. not wood, or near something cumbustable), or enclosed. The 120v wires need to be inside a junction box for code compliance, but the power supply and DC connections will mount outside a box (i.e. for benefit of air flow and cooling). I was looking at replacing my existing plastic junction boxes with metal ones, and attaching these to the outside of the exposed, metal junction box. I imagine that these could also mount inside a computer cabinet if it had internal cooling (i.e. fans).Original Review (02/10/2024)Bought these to use with WIFI light strips, to mount under kitchen cabinets, inside a 1" high junction box. The description of this product includes "Q&A":Q: Is this to be mouted in an exposed location, or must it be in an electrical box/enclosure?A: It is usually installed in the junction box or within fixture housing. So, ok, I'll install them inside the junction box, hardwired (120V), and attach the DC leads to the strip light controllers. Ez peasy. However, the instructions INSIDE the item when received tell me:"Cooling by free air convention", and "Always keep good ventilation; keep the heat dissipation space big enough". As in, INSIDE A JUNCTION BOX? I highly doubt that there's any ventilation inside a junction box.Which makes sense, i.e. the aluminum exterior needs air to cool. So, why did the Q&A recommend putting inside a junction box? Maybe it'd be fine with a 2 gang, metal box, but must junction boxes are plastic.Ok, so, we'll mount it outside the box, as long as the wire nuts are inside the box, we statisfy code. Wait a second. Not it says:"Do not mount on wood or flammable surface. Keep minium 4CM or 3CM for LED power supplies each other." So, external mount on the WOODEN cabinets are out, too.Unfortunately, my electrician installed a common, 1" H x 4"L, x 2.5" W, PLASTIC junction box. I may buy an aluminum version (very hard to find, but I found some for about $10 each), and try attaching this power supply driver to the exterior. Of, I may return this, junk the strip lights, and just buy a conventional, direct connect 120V light strip or kitchen lights that require no driver. These look well made. Can't tell if they work well. I ~~ highly recommend ~~ Amazon add a PDF with those install directions to this advertisement, for context.

This 24V 100W LED power supply seems to work well and produces a consistent 24V DC power for LED lighting. This 24V LED power supply is compatible with 100-265V AC and after testing this 24V LED power supply, I found that it has an output of 24.1V DC with no load. After connecting the LED driver to 2 24V LED strips in parallel, this LED power supply had no problem running both LED strips at about 70 watts. This LED power supply also features a 110V AC plug that allows it to be quickly installed and plugged into a standard 110V outlet. If this LED power supply is used with a higher AC voltage, the 110V plug can simply be cut off and the power supply can be hardwired to the appropriate circuit. Overall, this 24V 100-watt LED power supply seems to work well and should work well in any 110-240V AC residential or light-commercial application.
