Was surprise of the quality and ease of installing on umbrella. Great buy for value. I like the dim feature it offers. Well worth the money for a nice ambiance with partner.

The remote has a terrible range but will work within 10 feet. I am very happy with the lights. I just leave them on and they turn off at sunrise and come back on at dusk. The solar charging works excellent, the light stay on all night (at least 13 hours) .

Love the idea. Ordered the first set, made sure it was solar charged, the lights turned on fine, the remote worked, seemed good. But then as I was moving the light set around I noticed that the lights would flicker like there was a disconnected wire or something. And it wasn’t a fluke because I took it apart and put it back together carefully and still flickering lights. And Clearly I couldn’t install this set like that so I returned this set and exchanged for another one. SAME PROBLEM. They are now hearing back too. Not only that, the solar charge unit that you clip to the umbrella seems backwards to me. If I clip it to my umbrella, the wire actually exits the unit the opposite direction I would think it should go. The end with the wire is actually pointing to the center of the umbrella and not toward the edge. Which would have only further complicated the wire shorting issues, I would think. This is a hard no for me. Too bad because I love the idea of the affordable solar powered lights with a remote!

I bought these lights to replace the led lights that were built into my umbrella. The shipping was on time as promised and the product was packed well. One negative is almost all the zip ties have broken off after only two months. Not a deal breaker just a minor inconvenience to replace with new UV resistant zip ties. These lights were pretty easy to install and I like the long lead wire to the solar charging unit because it allows me to simply move the solar panel through the day to optimize sun exposure. The fully charged battery and resulting light is fine for the duration of my night life. I also like the multiple light settings especially the dimming capabilities because it allows me to set just the right ambiance. I wish they would make a set of lights for my “triple” umbrella because this set is just to awkward to fit a triple umbrella.
