+ Nice beach tent that can be also used as a regular tent (in moderate weather)+ Provides a cool shade and can provide more ventilation with large windows on 3 sides (with screens)+ Versatile canopy that can convert into a variety of setups+ Can be entirely closed for privacy when needed+ Well designed with all the bells and whistles you expect to find in a tent+ Setups up automatically in minutes and can be easily folded and stowed in its bag- A bit heavy and cumbersome to carry- On the pricey end- Instruction sheet stitched to the carrying bag, cumbersome to consult whenever needed- I wish it came with an opaque top for complete sun shielding_____This beach tent is quite interesting—it can also double as a regular tent for those clement times, if necessary. Its versatility shines through various ways to set up the canopy (though I’m not entirely sure if ‘360°’ is the right term here). Setting it up was a breeze (a lame pun attempt) and almost straightforward in a couple of minutes. But when I got stuck and needed more info, checking the instruction page was cumbersome because it was literally stitched to the inside bag itself. WHY! Maybe the reasoning was not to lose it? Well, we’re adults here. I wish they had it on a laminated leaflet that could be easy to consult and yet resist any unexpected beach splashes. The tent is moderately portable, fitting into a medium-sized bag, but it’s not lightweight at almost 10 lbs. Additionally, the handles aren’t designed to be conveniently placed around the shoulder for easier carrying like a backpack, and carrying it like a suitcase on the side can be cumbersome, especially in tight or crowded spaces; and this is an important point for me if you want to commute with it through public transport to the beach, for example.Once set up, sitting inside was delightful. I prefer it over entirely open tents or umbrellas because it offers more privacy and coziness, creating less of an open wind corridor. You can even zip up the sides completely if you want a private nap spot. Overall, the experience was quite good. Although it’s advertised for 4-6 people, I’d say that even accommodating 4 might be a bit tight unless you don’t mind close quarters. However, I appreciate how the canopy floor fabric gives it a spacious feel, almost like a little porch. The tent boasts several useful features: large zippered, rollable windows (complete with screens) on all three sides for extra breeze and ventilation; a central ceiling hook; side pouches for personal items; and double zippers that allow opening and closing from either inside or outside. The design is neat, and it comes in two colors—I opted for sky blue, which reflects away more rays and heat than the darker blue version. (A completely white version might have been even better.) Inside, it stays cooler, although I personally wish the top part were even more opaque to shield us completely from the sun. If you want a bit more sun, just sit under the canopy. As for windy weather, setting up any tent can be challenging, but this one isn’t uniquely problematic - i think it would be an issue for any kind of tent. It comes with sand pockets and 8 stakes for secure grounding, although on a calm day, the two front canopy rods did the job without them for me.Folding and stowing the tent back in its storage bag wasn’t as automatic as setting it up, but it wasn’t too bad. Once you get the hang of it, the process flows organically. In summary, it’s a good tent—pleasant to set up (especially with a helping hand) and comfortable to sit in. While it doesn't get a perfect score, it’s definitely recommended, even if a slightly lower price point would have sweetened the deal for sure.

It is easy to set up (haven’t used the front flap part yet) we were on a rocky/pebble beach & the ground was like cement! So no stakes used, but we had a cooler and bunch of beach stuff that kept it from blowing away when it got breezy. Last time we used it we didn’t have enough stuff inside (I put rocks in the outer sand pockets) but there was a gust that would have sent it into the lake if I wasn’t sitting inside at the time. Not sure how well the stakes would work on a really Sandy ocean beach with steady winds, but it’s great for our purposes. Set up & break down are pretty quick and easy. Happy with this purchase.

This is very small. Maybe two people can fit in this comfortably. Hard to set up. Not what I had hoped for.

Tent was great for its purpose of cooling and protecting us from the sun. I couldn't figure out the extension of the canopy as the stakes it provided keep falling. So I just unzip that portion and use it as is.
