This is not as sensitive or powerful as an alarm system that you would have installed into your car, but at a fraction of the price of one of those systems, it does a competent job of protecting your car. The internal alarm is nice and loud - but how loud will depend on your car's noise dampening, but no matter what, you will definitely hear it from outside the car, and that should deter anyone trying to get into your vehicle. Besides that, the bright lights on the unit definitely look official and should also make anyone think twice before targeting your car.

It definitely works! Set of two alarms works off a single remote, you can use it on various things, although it's designed for vehicles.When the package with this alarm arrived (delivered by UPS) it was already going off unopened lol It came with the batteries, so apparently the battery separator moved. So it was going off outside and I put it on my porch unopened, until everyone was up, so it was quieter. As I was coming in and out, each time I went out on the porch, it went off. It sensed me walking on the porch. I opened the package and it was loud as heck! So it is very sensitive, and has multiple uses.It will be quieter inside a vehicle, than if mounted outside. It has magnets so you could put it under a wheel well. Just remember to take it off and with you.

My car is already alarmed, but I requested this for my son's car which did not come with an alarmThis Car Vibration Sound and Light Alarm with Remote, and Anti-Theft Vibration Alert, with flashing LED Security Lights is just what he needed for additional protection of his vehicle. Hey, it's not an installed Security system, but it does the job for the time being. The illumination is enough to possibly scare off a thief, but it does what it's supposed to due.

I’ve got one of these alarms inside my 4Runner and another secured to the cargo carrier on the roof. They both pick up on vibration pretty well—enough to alert me if someone’s trying to pry open a door or tamper with the carrier. The alarm is loud, definitely enough to grab attention, and the flashing LED makes it clear the vehicle has some sort of alarm system. The remote works reliably and from a reasonable distance, and I haven’t had any issues with pairing or accidental disarming. I did have to reinforce the adhesive with zip ties and stronger tape, especially for the one mounted outside. The beep when arming and disarming is piercing indoors, but not really a problem when using it outside. It’s not a complicated system, but for my purposes—keeping an ear out for unwanted movement—it’s been working without any fuss.
