Works like a charm and nothing sticks to the bow strings. The classic wax is ok until you try this stuff, it's alot cleaner while maintaining it's lubricity.

Have used on a couple of crossbows and love this stuff. I use no other wax with it. Just this on the strings and the scorpion serving lube on the servings and cam cables. It goes on glossy and then dries a little more dull. I usually use it after I shoot a day worth of arrows and let dry while it sits in the case. Very nice product and after a few hindered arrows, the strings are fine with no signs of wear. I will be buying again.

When it comes to bow string wax I was accustomed to the traditional way of rubbing on, then rubbing in with your fingers and a hair drier. Now the time has come to where you can put that drier away and no longer have to clean off your fingers. This wax is very simple to put on a string, but the key to making it work at its full potential is to remove the old wax before applying this. You can do this by taking a napkin and rubbing over an area of the string until it gets warm and comes off, then apply in a single swipe on both sides of the string. There is a sponge on the tip and just the right amount comes out without it drenching your string. It seems to have about 5 or 6 full applications to the entire string and cables of a compound bow. When applied it seeps deep into all the strands of the string and makes a protective coating when it fully dries, which takes about 30 min. If you want the full potential let it dry until it no longer appears wet. There is somewhat of a tacky feel to the string afterwards, but not nearly as bad as the regular wax. Overall for the convenience, quality, ease of use and install; this is the new way to wax your bow string and once you do you will never go back.
