Ordered a brand new Eilik Silver and when I unboxed. The accessories box was missing with the charging cable, manual and food pieces missing.Very disappointing. The day it arrived I am sending it back. Wasn’t even offered a replacement option. It was very cute!

First off, I love the Eilik Robots! They are fun, entertaining, and an absolutely adorable distraction. I initially bought the blue one and enjoyed it so much that I decided to get him a friend, so I picked up the chrome version. Right away, I found the chrome design to be even more appealing—it’s sharp, eye-catching, and has a modern vibe. That said, the slick finish makes it tricky to keep accessories, like a Santa hat, in place. (Pro tip: a small piece of double-sided tape works wonders!)Sound-wise, both versions are identical. They share the same graphics, controls, and motor noises. However, the real magic happens when you have two Eiliks. Watching them interact, bicker, and “fight” like siblings is hilarious and totally worth it. I bought them for me—an adult—and I find their antics endlessly entertaining. That said, I can see how kids might lose interest more quickly unless you invest in the tank accessory to expand their play options. In terms of interactivity, they are somewhat limited. They don’t respond to voice commands, and their gameplay options are fairly basic. It’s mostly about petting them, watching them do their thing, or making them play a few preprogrammed games. For me, watching their spontaneous actions, especially when they’re together, is the highlight. One minor downside is that the sound effects can become repetitive over time. Fortunately, you can mute them or turn the volume down low if they start to get on your nerves.Overall, Eilik Robots are a charming and quirky addition to my desk. They may not have the depth of interaction some might expect, but their playful personalities, adorable design, and the pure joy of watching two of them together make them a fantastic desktop distraction for adults or a fun short-term novelty for kids.
